Hilda Babin Breaud, beloved mother and grandmother of Vacherie, La. was called to her eternal resting place on June 11, 2017. She passed away just a few days shy of her 92nd birthday. Hilda was a kind, sweet, gentle soul who never had a harsh word to say. She was adored by her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.
She leaves behind to cherish her memory, her seven children, 4 sons Roy (Darlene), Clay (Nadine), Wayne (Corrine) and Randy (Mary) & 3 daughters Gwen Lewis (Ronnie), Jan Breaud & Connie Simon (Mark).

David, Andy, Chris & Shelby Breaud, Jamie Breaud Waguespack. Allison Granier Proctor, Nikki Granier, Jacob Breaud. Emma Simon Ledet, Traci Simon. Justin & Evan Breaud. Also 3 step grands Donny Gauthreaux, Eric LeBlanc & Evan Gaudet as well as 16 great grandchildren.
Hilda is also survived by her brother, Clyde Babin(Shirley) of Jefferson, LA. She is preceded in death by her husband, Roy A. Breaud Sr, a brother Leo Babin and her parents Felicie Bacas Babin and Conan Babin.
She was a graduate of Louisiana State University and enjoyed watching Saints and LSU sports and hobbies such as genealogy and Facebook. Visitation will be held at St. Philip's Catholic Church in Vacherie, LA on Wednesday, June 14, 2017 beginning at 8 AM, Mass will be held at 11 AM. Interment to follow in the church mausoleum. In lieu of flowers, Mass and donations to St. Philip's Church Building Fund or donations to Catholic Daughters of America, 1504 Scholarship Fund. Condolences may be expressed at www.HCAlexander.com.
